i got a call from my dealer. the stator they put in is charging lower than the oem was. they say there was a bulletin in may, i forget the bulletin number, that puts specified stator output range as the same as the '08 bikes (i want to say 30-40vAC), and not where the 09 book says they should be (50+).

any dealership employees have access to h-dnet and can pull that bulletin for me? if you can and can PM me a .pdf that would be awesome, I keep a file...thanks!

This bulletin is only a correction to the spec in the service manual, No parts where changed.
Give me your e mail address and ill try to send it over if you want but there's not much there.

Thing is, my oem stator put out old-book-spec. My new stator did for two rides, and now puts out new-book-spec. Trying to figure if they changed parts (I.e. Dropped the output to cut heat), changed specs, or just...changed the book.

Or...does my bike still have an issue?

If they did not change the rotor also they put a 09 stator back in, They have not changed the spec on the stator so as far as i am concerned you will more then likely have an issue down the line, I smoked 3 09 stators and am now running an 08 rotor and stator.
Hopefully issue is now solved, I do notice that i watch the voltage a lot less now.
