I have read through piles of stator threads but can't find the actual specs of the o8 vs the o9. I know the o8 produces less power. I'm about to try a rewind shop locally but need to know what to tell them. Thx. |

Me either I want to give the 08 ROTOR and STATOR specs to a guy to see if it can be produced and am getting nowhere except a fellow Bueller did offer to lend me his 08 set up to spec out in a spare motor he has. I can't say enough about how helpful my fellow Buellers are but BRP/H-D have been no help at all in this regard. It is frustrating at this point I am gonna take my fellow Buellers offer up and give them to my local guy and see what he comes up with. |

k, I think I found the specs... i say think as they came from online bike spec/ review pages. o8' 32amp/432w o9' 37amp/520w I think i'm may try 34amp/460w. The only reason is that the o8' was bumped up in power apparently because it wasn't providing enough power for accessories. I have a PCV w Autotune, HID lights and soon a usb charge dock. |

I have an 08, HIDs on lo-beams and heated grips that I use often. Still on the original battery - 27k miles and 4 years old this December. IMO, there's plenty of electrons for daily riding with the 08 charging system. Just don't try to run heated gloves, vest and pants and run the hi-beams. Z |
