Went for a ride today and my belt snapped right as i was about to come back on base at Camp Pendleton. I've called every dealership around and NONE of them have a belt in stock and the ones that had service departments open said that the belt is not a warranty item. I'm going to call HD Customer Service and get them to pay for the belt. Bad thing is, I'm suppose to leave this Thursday morning on my ride back home to Iowa. To make it even worse, my dad wants to meet me up in Sturgis first so we could ride around up there. By the time any of the dealerships would get the belt, it will be too late. If anyone out there has a spare belt they would be willing to part with, please let me know. I'll pay for it and when i get the new belt on her in iowa, i'll return it back to you. Any help would be much appreciated right now. |

What dean said I just ordered a back up from them. And they are in California. Plus they are great people and you are supporting an American business. I love American sportbike just wish they were closer. |

Alright Al!!! I'll probably be over there some time tomorrow then to pick one up. I was just worried if you didnt have any in stock, but since you do, the hunt is over. I'm just glad the belt didnt snap somewhere in Utah on my way to Sturgis! Oh, and the belt only has 12,000 miles on it, really wish i was one of the lucky ones that could get over 30,000 miles on it |

Al and joanne are always at the rescue. I have made about five or six orders from them but they are always on the ball. I try them first for parts before I try anywhere else especially the dealer. Have fun on your rides too!!!! |

Al, I was just thinking about a spare not one hour ago! I'll be in touch in the next day or two. A very sincere "thank you" for taking care of the Buell scene. I'm sure there are easier ways to make a buck. |

Leaving Cali around noon on Thursday, gonna show up in sturgis mid afternoon on Friday. Stay there for the night and then be back in Iowa by Saturday night. Mostly gonna be around grand junction/Ames area, but spend a few days in cedar rapids. Then for labor day weekend heading to springfield, Illinois for the races |

Well I'm in Des Moines. Get ahold of me if ya want to meet up. I'm moving to Knoxville TN at the end of the month or first week of september. There are not many Buellers around here except for me and No-Rice and maybe about 2 others. PM me for details on how to get ahold of me. |

it'll be 101 in borrego today...once out of the coastal plain - it's gonna get hot real quick: a)stay hydrated b)don't be afraid to fill that helmet with water...dump it and let it drip on your head - if you keep the brain cool at least you can think straight c)watch out for the big trucks d)pace yourself...you'll be on the road a long time e) it's an adventure - try to have some fun! good luck! |

Nuts4mc - +100. The cold water helmet is a momentary brain freeze. Do it! You will be glad you kept your brain from cooking. |
