Just dropped the bike off to get some new treads put on. I went with the 2CT's based off of everyone's recommendation from here. I should be able to pick it up on Friday and can't wait. Any advice for proper break in if any? This is my first set of new tires on a bike and I ride very conservatively. |

Be very careful until you have been round a fair few left and rights. New Tyres are slippy. |

Just get some miles on them, they will break themselves in...If you ride conservatively, why the 2CT's and not the Road 2's or 3's? |

The 2cts a very pointy compared to the Corsas, the bike will turn in very quickly! |

I don't like'em at all. If you have your freeways grooved for rain control (?) like here in So. Cal., they are a pain. Like the old days of having a groove or two in the center of the tires....they "hunt" all over. Grooving light, hunting is light. If the grooving is heavy...hang on. If the grooving is wavy...well...you get the hint. Plus...in my driving, I only saw a small difference in overall dry grip and a small drop in grip in the wet from the older Powers. I've gone back to the Pilot Powers on all three of my bikes. Mike |

Roads around here are not grooved for rain thankfully. I ended up going with the 2ct's for the supposed longer lasting center tread. I have slowly been getting more aggressive with my riding and just felt that these would be a good tire to try out based on what I have read. Worst case if I don't like them I will try a different setup. I had been neglecting the bike a bit lately as I had too many cars, but since I just sold one I can now spend more money on the bike and finish the project car. Oh and just cause I can here is a pic of the car I just sold... She was a 1978 Datsun 280Z that I loved to drive and will by another one some day.

Nice 280Z! I had a 77' and 78'. The 78' was a southern car and was rust free! Lowered with ST springs, and Tokico Shocks, BBS Wheels. I sold it because my wife at the time thought it would be a good idea. Now I don't have either! Never sell your hotrod because a woman says so! Unless she's absent a certain 'reflex' |

Funny cause my wife told me not to sell this car! I have an '86 300zx that I am almost done swapping a sbc into that I really want to finish. So I decided that instead of storing this car I would just sell this car and finish the project |

Yeah. New wife doesn't want me to sell my Lexus IS300 Turbo! Badass car! It's waiting on the next upgrades to be completed (taking it to about 750hp), but I spend all my free time riding...lol. I guess finding the right woman is important! |

I love the 2CTs... but I will be getting some pilot roads for commuting and save the CTs for twisties and track days. Extra set of wheels too, naturally. |

I'm having good luck with the Power Pure. Still beating the crap out of em like normal, but I'm getting some amazing wear (or lack thereof) from the rear. They are more sensitive to pressure, but when you get it right, they're awesome. R |

CARBONBIGFOOT took the words out of my mouth those are the best tires I've ever owned for street use. Grip is amazing front wheel falls into corners and they heat up quick! def take a look at the Michelin Power Pure! |

Just picked the bike up and so far I am very happy with the 2CT's. The bike practically begs to be thrown into corners and road feel/feedback is good. I have a few more miles before they are fully scrubbed in and will update again shortly. |

Hated mine for the first bit. Found they were crazy squirmy.... Got some opinions, really heated them up with 15 minutes of twist throttle and brake hard then started throwing it into corners. Was squirmy for a bit and then settled down. They don't squirm anymore, which makes me happy.... but, they seem to be susceptible to tar snakes moreso than any other tires I've ridden. |

That looks more like chicken breast's than strip's. haha All jokes aside many friends have the 2CTs on their bikes and they love them. I plan on getting the Power Pure's on my baby girl in the next two weeks |
