Anyone ever seen a "system voltage" error on an 1125? My 09 CR is intermittently giving this message. Looks like the voltage is too high. It has an FMF exhaust, a Erik Buell Racing ecm and a K&N air filter. Does any one know what the electrical recall mod does? Some alternator wires seem to go to the ecm? |

at the top of the page is a google in multi colors. Search on 'stator', 'voltage regulator posplayer' to get caught up on the 09-10 stator and voltage regulator issues. |

your voltage regulator/rectifier is the most likely culprit... 99% chance |

Having the same issue. I'm swapping the VR out on mine. |

OK, read a lot of post. Electrical system is crap. Which regulator is the best to go with? Stock, Compufire or FH012AA ?????? Also is stock system a PM generator or alternator? |

Its a fixed field (permanent magnet) system generating AC voltage. |

Thanks All. It was the RR. I currently replaced it with a stock one but after some research I plan to upgrade to a MOSFET RR AND keep the factory switching harness. Hopefully this combination will protect the stator. Anyone know the circumstances that open the relay on the upgraded harness? Does it still work with my Erik Buell Racing ECM? Thx again! |

Engine temp. and RPM. Erik Buell Racing ECM good to go. |
