Can someone walk me through setting the clock on the IC. I've got the Service Manual, the Diagnostics Manual, and the Parts Manual, but, I never received an Owner's Manual as I bought the bike with 31 miles on it. Thanks for the help. |

Owners manual link at the top Or use the search Hold MODE and TOGGLE to get into setup mode, browse till you get to the time, you are on your own from there. Good luck |

Hey Froggy: Those links at the 1125r/cr for the owner's manuals don't work any more. And the search engine turned up nothing for me. I did the Mode and Toggle and did not see Time. I'll try again. Thanks. |

Setting Time 1. With ignition key ON and security system disarmed, enter the setup menu by pressing and holding the Toggle and Mode switches for five seconds. 2. See Setting Time. Press the Mode switch to advance to the TIME SETTING menu item. 3. Press the Toggle switch to select the Time Setting menu item. 4. Set the clock to the current time: a. The first two digits begin flashing. Click the Toggle switch to increment the hours to the current time. Click the Mode switch to accept the setting. b. The first minutes digit begins flashing. Click the Toggle switch to increment to the current time. Click the Mode switch to accept the setting. c. The last minutes digit begins flashing. Click the Toggle switch to increment to the current time. Click the Mode switch to accept the setting. 5. The setup menu will advance to the next menu item. To exit the setup menu, click the Mode switch until the Exit menu item is displayed. Click the Toggle switch to exit the setup menu. |

Are you supposed to do Time/Clock setting with the bike running? No dice with pressing Mode and Toggle switches, ignition to ON and Run switch on. This is the only think Hal's did not do before delivery. |

OK, that didn't work. I cannot see Time mode. All I see is... View Codes and Live Data. Thanks for the Easyrider video...been a long time since I saw any of that movie. I'm going to have my fourth beer and ponder life now. |

Thats diagnostic mode, not setup mode. Turn key on THEN hold the buttons. |

Alright, after watching the second episode of Easyrider, I've decided to dispatch with the beer and have now put the banana peels into the oven, am cooking them up, then I'll have a good smoke soon. Good thing my wife went shopping and bought a boatload of bananas!!!!! How come setting Time is such a PITA? Am I just this stupid? Is this what it comes down to on a Sunday evening? |

No that's not it. But the heat and four beers isn't helping. I'm just being stupid at this point. I'll try again when I come to my senses! That may be awhile as I'm drinking micro brew in the 16oz. bottles. |

Put a piece of black tape over the clock, have a couple hits of that banana and go have a groovy ride. |

Due to the "marginal" electrics of the 1125, I always setup the dash once the motor is running. Start the bike. Press Mode and Toggle, hold until SETUP appears. Scroll and set, good to go. Z |

My clock never stays set. Not sure what the problem is. I gave up on it reading accurate time a long while back. |
