Trying to get the right parts is like pulling teeth... I mean really how hard can it be. ordered the 08 2 bearing axle kit from Erik Buell Racing and ended up with the 3 bearing 2010 setup. tried again with buell parts .net. Same damn thing. really if the parts number says 08-09 axle kit thats what you should get. Really Really frustrated at the moment! |

There is no such thing as a 2 bearing axle kit. |

There is no such thing as a 2 bearing axle kit. Well that would be a problem now wouldnt it?! Haha! Sorry, I dont mean to make fun or be an ass, but seeing people gripe about Erik Buell Racing here is getting pretty old. |

I think the 2010 kit is a super set. In other words, put two of the three bearings in your wheel, and use the axle. Let me know if that's not the case. |

2 bearing axle setup is what every bike has normaly - there was a upgrade in 2010 to the 3 bearing axle setup , where the axel takes 3 bearings to help prolong the life of the bearings. A known failure on buells of late. This is partly due due to no seals. |

They won't fit. The newer bearing has a larger overall diameter. If you want 2 bearings and an axle, you have to order them individually. Just like they don't make a forks and trees kit, if you want forks and trees, you order them separate. |

There is only one axle made now, the one for the 3 bearing wheels. The axle will work in either wheel, 2 or 3 bearing. The BEARINGS and spacer are unique to each wheel however. eg. can't us 2 of 3 for a 2 bearing wheel. Zack |

Did you check out American Sportbike? They have a kit listed for the 08/09... Can't go wrong with American Sportbike. |

Budgolf.. i'm not complaining about Erik Buell Racing they are a great group of people that go out of there way to help anyone. didn't know that there wasn't an axle kit for the 08-09 1125R bikes. maybe everyone that has them listed as such should take them off there sites then. just an idea. the 3 bearing set don''t fit. the bearings are larger and the center spacer is shorter. also don't think there was the spacer that is on the right side like in the 3 bearing setup. |

Where are you seeing these kits? Erik Buell Racing only lists the 3 bearing kit, I don't even see the older smaller bearings even listed on their site. |

Sorry dude, I just misunderstood your intent. Seems to have been a lot of Erik Buell Racing bashing here because he cant make every person in the world happy and I just took yours the wrong way. Good luck to you. |
