Hey guys I was just wondering what brake pads do you use. Do you use aftermarket or the ones from ebr. Bike is not used on the track. |

The ebr pads are not a good choice for street imho. |

I only ride on the street and I recently just went from OEM to EBC HH pads, and so far after 2k miles I like the EBC's better. They seem to just bite better, not a huge improvement but an improvement none the less and they cost less then OEM. I got mine from Al at American sport bike for $57. |

I bought the Erik Buell Racing pads thst said,"Not as much initial bite as stock pads but last longer"or something like that.I actually like them on the street. They seem more predictable to me especially when someone comes out of nowhere and I really have had no problem on the street with them.If I can do stoppies at will I guess I have all of the braking power I need. Also they don't seem to pulse like the stockers. |

I might try the Erik Buell Racing pads mentioned by Nm5150. I have the EBC HH pads and it was WAY too easy to overbrake with them.

The Performance Friction pads nm5150 mentioned are great. I'm on my second set (track days will do a number to them) and see no reason to switch. except for the price |

Jaimec -- When you say "overbrake" exactly what do you mean? Endo or overshot the corner from lack of stopping power? |

I'm guessing that Jaimec washed out the front under braking and low-sided in a corner. |
