My o2 dont waste your money .... I have had less than stellar results with these type devices, My standard 08' bike runs just fine with no mods If you do a pipe that has an available Erik Buell Racing tune thats the ticket the box is some thing you will wish you had not wasted your money on. |

To each his own. I'm happy for you that your scoot runs well. Mine did not, with either original or "race" ECM in place. With the EJK in place and the O2 sensors disconnected, it's now as it should be. I've put "piggybacks" on 3 Buells, 3 BMW's, and a Harley. If they didn't work/solve problems, I would not use them... |

I used a Teclusion on my early R1200GS BMW. It was similar to the EJK Buell unit (which is a 3.0 not a 3.5) and also had the O2 sensor connectors if I remember correctly. The GS had a Remus Titanium muffler sans baffle and a decat pipe. Without the Teclusion it was very rough, with it it was totally awesome in terms of both tractability and performance. That bike would smoke ANY standard GS. This is not rocket science and at the end of the day the signal at the injector is altered in whatever way and it either does the job or it doesn't. I sense a certain about of snobbery perhaps I use a TTS Mastertune with my Road King and it's a very different approach but it cost a whole deal more too. Saying that the Buell isn't right but I'm quietly hoping that resetting the TPS will sort it out. Peter |

CycleDoc, as a matter of interest what settings are you using? Peter |

All EJK settings are as-shipped, which you see here: http://www.electronicjetkit.com/Sportbike/viewprod uct.asp?partnumber=9120301 It has the "race" ECM installed, and with the O2 sensors disconnected, it's happy, I'm happy. Yesterday about 100 miles of backroad fun yielded 45 mph, on 87 octane... This weekend it's up for a 500 mile camping trip, partially along the Blue Ridge Pkwy. I installed a Ventura rack so my 30# of gear will fit.... My goal was to get it comfortable and running well, and it was neither when I got it. Different bars/pegs/tuning/seat and now it's a honey! |
