Hi, can someone please measure the distance between the front and rear axle centres (wheelbase) thanks. On a 'R' model. |

that's the same number given for the CR wheelbase. i thought the CR's WB was supposed to be longer |

According to Buell.com, the R is 54.1" and the CR is 54.5". Given the numbers from the link above were also taken from Buell.com, I'm not sure what to tell you. My guess is those were numbers of the pre-production bikes, and that they lost the 4 tenths of an inch somewhere between then and production. |

Something's amiss. I just went out to the garage and got my tape measure. 55.5+" center-to-center on the axles on Loretta. On the side-stand. Because of the geometry, sitting on the bike with proper sag, it will be a bit less. I need a 3rd person for a proper measurement. Z |

Yeah mines not like it should be (according to online information, hence why I asked) lol take a measurement again tonight. I have a different front on my bike and trying to get it as close to factory as possible, but what is factory ?? |
