Aaron Frank is the biggest douchebag anti-buell motojournalist I have ever encountered. He complained endlessly about the XB's fans because he was embarrassed by the sound. I even had a back and forth personal email argument with him because he irritated me. He knew zero things about their long term XB12 and kept complaining that Buells are NOT mainstream bikes! WTF? They are not mainstream bikes and that's one of their appealing qualities and that was one of his issues! Part of the reason why I dropped my MC subscription. |

i dont know who this chap is and i really dont care to be honest - though his write up on the new 1190rs is good and if he's spreading a good word on what ebr are doing then thats fine with me. And to be honest the buell bikes aint a mainstream bike and that is some what that makes them special. A USP in other words. If he did'nt get with the xb range then so what its his loss not ours. The 1125 was the bike Erik wanted many years ago where would the brand be now if he got what he wanted. |

I took outlier as a compliment. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outlier An outlying observation, or outlier, is one that appears to deviate markedly from other members of the sample in which it occurs. Buell was an American Company making Sport bikes competing in the UJM marketspace, an Outlier. Erik Buell Racing is an American Company making Race bikes competing in the exotic marketspace, an Outlier. |

Yeah, the beginning of end is due to the 1125R and nothing to do with the corporate overlords? But if I hadn't read this article, I wouldn't have learned that my bike was heavy steering and slow turning. Whatever. |
