Riding from saranac michigan to asheville nc today heatindex is 104. About 730 miles. should be there at 6 or 7 am tomorrow. |

Mesh jacket water ever stop adventure pants and boxers. 3 applications of gold Bon Made it here safe the first 5 hours were miserable Still charging 13.9 volts I have 5k miles on my setup But then agian mine hadn't failed at 10k I wonder if oil change intervals play a part I change my oil every 4k |

Next gas stop try filling cold water in your helmet, then pour, shake it out and put it on!!! Brain freeze and nice for quite a while. |

I made it safe and sound thinking i will try hitting cycle gear up for a cooling vest before i head home. Bikes still runs great and charging 13.9 |

Maybe it's because we get this sort of heat every year, but 104 just doesn't seem that hot to me. I rode from Austin to Amarillo a few weeks ago in temps that ranged from 90-114 degrees, then hiked in the 100-114 degree heat the next day. It was hot, but not so bad that I wouldn't have ridden it... and I don't even wear a cooling vest. Just my normal shirt and summer rev'it mesh jacket. I guess it's all what you get use to after a while. |
