Been a long time since I was here..this will be my 5th Buell. Just wondering if a 2009 1125R with 3100 miles, HMF pipe, white bros fender eliminator and basically mint condition for $5300 is a good buy? The ECU is stock but from what I have heard the 2009 doesn't need a remap. Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks guys, great to be back | ||

If they've changed the pipe it needs a map... The price seems fair enough but do some research on some of the issues with the 09/10 1125 so you know what you're letting yourself in for and can make an informed decision. | ||

The ROTAX is a buzzy engine that is NOT happy below 3500 RPM's. Stators on 09-10 bikes are very weak. lots of threads here on stator issues. | ||

Stators on 09-10 arent weak, they have more output than the 08,they are just prone to failure. No trouble with the stator on my 09 though | ||

It's a good price. Dealers are selling them for 6500-7000. They have one at White's H-D. | ||
