I take the bike in for some last minute warranty stuff, little things mostly. The MAJOR thing is the dash. The bike was dropped off in early June and its been a while so I call today, they tell me that the dash has yet to be released from HD and is set to be released on the 30th of this month. Has anyone else had a dash issue? Mine is an 09 with 14000 miles, it was weird for sure as the speed display stayed on saying 57 MPH even with the bike OFF, the dealer told me that there set to be the 187th store set to get the dash. A little pissed I be right now. | ||

Correct me if I am wrong. I think you can add downtime to extend your warranty. If the bike is down 30 days you get an extra 30 days. (Message edited by dannybuell on July 15, 2011) | ||

To point on warranty extension. Yeah back order is real I think they are being made from oil that isn't oil yet. I waited 140+days for mine.... | ||

As long as your work order is started, for a new IC, while still in warranty, you're good to go. They don't stop until the work order is closed, doesn't matter how long the wait for parts is. Z |
