Hey guys. I recently acquired a 2009 1125CR. She has no mirrors or signals of any kind. Just curious what you guys thought about this as a cheap substitution? Also need to find some signals for the front. You guys have any cost effective solutions? Don't have too much more to spend on her lol. http://cgi.ebay.ca/Led-Tail-Light-X-W-turn-Signal- XB-Buell-1125-/270780433726?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_A ccessories&hash=item3f0bc5853e Thanks a lot guys and I look forward to meeting some of you! |

I did the XB lights rear brake, with modulator. Obviously a bit higher budget needed, but i would go with the 2010 LED tail light before the ebay one you linked. lots of exposed bits and low power LED's = cheap and probably likely to fail (especially if gets wet). Vs the 2010 stock LED which is about the same price, but you will need new rear signals. As for the front signals i did mirror eliminators w/ built in signals. Let me see if i can find you a pic or two to show. couple bullet connections and simple. They were 50'ish, but i've seen them online for less since then (25-30ish iirc). GL! |

here's my front signals - hotbodies smoked LED's used as mirror block off. Here's a thread with a bunch of info on the front signals/blockoffs: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/634776.html?1306811116 I will see if i can post up a pic of the rear with my new signals. They are nice, but not cheap. I rode today so can snap a pic on my way home w/ camera phone. Well I have the stock undertail with brake lens and light already. Would this light not just slip inside the lens and replace the stock brakelight? I didn't think there would be anything exposed. |
