G"Day all, after sliding down the tract at Phillip island, i cannot get past 2nd gear. will not stay in 1st or 2nd unless physically holding in with foot, wants to spring back to neutral. Do i need to remove the motor and split the cases to rectify this problem? |

Gary P.M me, your a Melboune lad & I have a bike shop in the Sth Eastern suburbs mate, if you went down on the gear shift side you may of damaged the selector shaft spring. |

yes, it was that side. if it is the spring, do i have to separate the cases? have you done this before, where are you? |

Gary, Im in Notting Hill mate, if its the spring no need to split the motor, clutch out ect.. |
