The guys is a software engineer and knows nothing about electricity or apparently not even google. The FHA0012 is a MOSFET Shunt regulatro that is if anything worse on a stator than the bipolar SHUNT type. The MOSFET is a better short so all of the voltage drop is across the stator; something smells toasty |
