My bike was wrecked and the fork sliders were bent. I ordered new ones and plan on transferring the cartridge over to the new slider. Do i still need to compress the spring to get to the jam nut or can i back the bolt out on the bottom and take the damper assembly completely out? |

Just take the bolts out of the bottoms like you say, then everything will come out of the top. Can I get the bent sliders from you after you're done with the repairs? I need the aluminum axel clamps off the ends if they're not broken... Please, please, pleeeese..... |
