Hi everyone I took my stator out last night. While removing it I had to cut the three yellow wires, which Im assuming are for each leg. Anyway I didnt label them is that going to be a issue when I reinstall??? |

why did you cut them? and no, it shouldnt matter unless you have the recall harness. i think it cut-out the top section of the stator. so figger out which one was which. maybe you can tell from teh angle of the cut (if you cut them all at once) or they are slightly different in legnth (if you cut them individually) |

It was disconnected it up by the air box but when feeding it down in between the frame I noticed it was reinsulated with soldering(must of been from the warranty stator replacement the first time). So I figured I would just cut right there where they already did! |

so...you have three wires all the same color...why in hell would you cut them without labeling them first? Whether it "matters" or not...one thing I learned doing stage lighting and dimming and rigging installations, you ALWAYS label before cutting and you ALWAYS put them back in the same order you found them. Kinda like carpenters who "measure twice, cut once". |

The stator runs 3 phase AC, if i remember right, order of wires should not matter. but I wouldn't be happy if they were soldered, the dealer is not very good if they cut the wires. |
