i think that's what the yellow ring is on the throttle grip. wedge that inbetween the grip and the switch block. |

I figure you guys might want to see my helmet too. Sorry for the grainyness, they are quick shots from my tablet, too lazy to break out the SLR. Sportvue HUD that links into my Veypor to tell me my speed, gear, and other info.
Scala Rider G4 radio with bluetooth to connect to my phone, GPS, and Xoom to stream music.
H.A.R.D. system to give a visual alert in my helmet when my radar detector is detecting.

quote:are you riding or playing video games?
I do both. Sometimes I will lock the throttle on the highway and futz around on the phone.
quote:Did you even notice your gas light is on with all the instruments in the way?....lol
I am working on a solution to that...
quote:Where are you going to put the rear view camera?
I haven't picked one up yet, it is on the list. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
quote:Holy information overload.
Better than having no information.
quote:Prolly easier to fly a F15 in combat then ride that thing to work.
I've landed on the aircraft carrier in Top Gun on NES, and anyone thats ever played that knows if you can pull that off, you pretty much can operate anything in life
quote:Which screen do you watch tv on?
Lower right, I can use the Hava app to watch TV. I have my Xoom tablet in my backpack so I can watch that when I dismount.
quote:what about cruse control ?
Nilla is correct, the yellow thing wedges to lock the throttle. I can't get it to fit in between the grip and switches, so I stuff it inbetween my HVMP bar ends and the grip. Works great!
quote:That should make the stator happy
While I haven't tested all this with the heated gear going at the same time, I don't think it will be a huge issue. |

(Oops too late running this wkend) http://www.masondixon20-20.org/ ...or maybe next month try this: http://www.maryland1000.org/ they're a lot of fun/work, challenge/rewarding...just wish the the 1125 had a "belly tank" ! Looks great Froggy - have fun - don't get electrocuted when it rains! |

Froggy, I'm really just asking a sincere and open question. Why did you buy an 1125 if much of your enjoyment seems to be from electronics and MPG achievements? |

Jeez, Frog...resistance is futile. When do you switch to implants? Yes, he runs 47 psi. He also WEIGHS 47 lbs, so there's not much change in pressure when he saddles up. All that crap on the bars...probably weighs as much as he does! Someday, I need to get one of those weather boxes for my Blackberry... |

Nuts4mc, your mirror stud RAM mounts are great!
quote:Geeze, just buy a Gold Wing already
The Gold Wing doesn't really do anything for me. I have no desire for one.
quote:Froggy, I'm really just asking a sincere and open question. Why did you buy an 1125 if much of your enjoyment seems to be from electronics and MPG achievements?
The 1125 is a fantastic machine. The power, the smoothness, low maint, uniqueness, plus a ton of other things in the overall package make it nearly the perfect motorcycle. In fact the only two bikes I know of that do it better are the Ducati Multistrata 1200, and the new Erik Buell Racing 1190RS, both of which are a bit more expensive than the 1125.
quote:Your running 47psi in your tires??
Yea I've been playing around with it, feels a bit better than 55psi and no noticable fuel economy hit.
quote:Froggy - Where does all that stuff go when you have to park somewhere and turn your back on the bike?
With me. Phone and GPS pop out of the cradle, the radar I just remove the entire unit (RAM mounts are great), then the Veypor stays, it is a useless hockey puck without the bike.
quote:Jeez, Frog...resistance is futile. When do you switch to implants?
Still working on that

Is the mirror stud Ram mount stock item or a modified item? I really need one of these. I have a Ram mount that I attach to the hole that is used for mirrors on CR's but I have to mount my GPS almost sideways to keep it from hitting the fairing. Do you happen to have the part number? |

Weird I have the opposite problem. I can't resist taking unnecessary stuff off my bikes. My S1 resembles a motor, wheels and clip-ons. Not a gauge one. The CR's getting close. |

No need for an APU yet, but we shall see Eddie, I'll get you a pic later, no fishing pole antennas Kinder, most of it is tied in off the bikes accessory line, so it won't kill the battery. Dnlink, send a PM to Nuts4mc, he made it for me. The left one is his original design, the right one is a shorty he made at my request due to obvious real estate issues |

Froggy = AWESOME. that's impressive. I have the interphone F4 for BT (phone, music, rider to rider intercom). I Looked at the HARD system for radar. GPS i've done over audio via my BT F4 while in my pocket (from my phone as GPS). What are the others? I see a tire pressure monitor, radar is the top right? what's the top left two button grey/black box? HUD too... damn man! |

Upper left is the Valentine radar detector, upper right is the Veypor VR2 computer Did about 600 miles yesterday, everything worked fantastic! Brumbear, that is probably the only good use for a Mac. |
