well after 14k miles the front pads are finally to the point i don't feel very safe anymore. i found some kbc's on fleabay for 75 delivered ad says it's a set of four so we will see here directly. there have been mixed reviews for street with them here so i am hoping they will fit my riding style well enough to stop when i need to. i do most of my miles on the freeway here in floriduh which is why i think they lasted as long as they did, that and i just don't use the brakes that often. now that's not to say i hyper-mile it but i am fuel conscience. also got some of the relaxed uly ride pegs enroute also from fleabay hoping to relieve the pinch related foot and lower leg circulation issues. and finally got the knock off brake clutch levers. i really the idea of shorties but jsut can't stomach the cost of the others to try it out. i've read here that the knock offs sometimes have fading issues. so i am thinking that if i do like them when that starts to happen i will be more inclined to get the asv's or the other ones that are the 'real deal' just wishing i had that cash for some carbon, no i don't need it but i sure do like the way it looks. |

i saw those they are the Rev which i understand to be less than good. i've used ebc for other bikes and have always been very happy with them plus they were cheaper than the Rev B pads i found when i was searching. the Rev B OE pads i found were 98 to my door the Rev A pads i found were 59 plus shipping. |

I'm at just under 11k miles and I need new front pads. We're on the same page. What's everyone suggest in terms of street pads? Just order stock ones through Al or what? |

Ferodo has good prices and they bite quicker and hold better than the stock pads on my 09cr. |

Thanks for the link. Last time I bought EBC pads from some douche-lick on ebay he sent two pads and we had a giant fight over the listing and a PayPal dispute yada yada so I will be wanting to hear back from you that the vendor actually provided 4 pads for that price. |

ok heres the update: i got some brake pads in the mail today they were however not what i ordered... i noticed that VTCustoms has their phone number listed on the ebay page so i gave them a call. spoke to Tony(owner) and explained what happened. he looked and asked if he could call back. 5 mins later he calls back and admitted a mistake had occurred and that the FA460HH pads were mine for the trouble and he would mail out the FA454/4HH pads monday express mail. so people make mistakes and some people like Tony are willing to own up and then go above and beyond to make it better. |

Okay so have uly pegs installed. Just got done taking the FA454/4HH pads round the block once.....holy stoppie batman!!! I'm sure that any new pads would be much better than the worn out factory pads but DAYYUUMM! I have to relearn how to stop. Now if the shorty levers would just get here... |

I ordered those $60 pads from eBay on Friday and got them Monday. I ordered some rear pads at the same time and they have just now shipped them. I do not like resellers that drop ship and list on eBay as if it was in hand. Hurry up and wait. |

Pads were from VTCustoms on ebay. Not drop shipped. The fronts were 75 in hand. Turned out full set for 75 because of shipping foul up mentioned above. |
