Do I have this right? Joe, you are running a stock engine with ECM, intake and exhaust, no bars, no racing slick and you are giving a stretched turbo V-Rod with slick and wheelie bars a race? 9.118 ET and a new top speed of 152.5 MPH? It's darn tough to believe. You sure you're not just photo-shopping those slips and taking us all for a ride? |

blake - I am probably mistaken, but I was thinking that LBQ is running in a 9.50 index class, not a heads up class Now, the fact he's that close to 8s on a stock engine etc...extremely impressive. Yes, its a great bike, but even better riding |

i was running in 9.5 class but only till top gas started this was the 1st round of 6 yes its a stock motor mapped by twin motorcycles and ebr sidewinder pipe i still have same clutch in it with 2500 miles on it most of them at the strip the only thing i do to the motor is oil and plug changes .look on you tube @ some runs i would never photo shop a slip whats the point |

Joe, iyo what do you need to do to get into the 8's ? I would really love to see a stock engine running in the 8's. Can you save any more weight anywhere ? |

Owens, You must have missed his efforts from last year. The 9.5 competition was just a warm up for the seriously quick man. Paul (Avalaugh), >>> what do you need to do to get into the 8's ? If you plot Joe's amazing progress and put into the mix that he has yet to run a slick or wheelie bars, I'd say it's just a matter of time. Getting beat by a turbo VRod is likely just the thing to spur yet further improvement. I get the feeling that Joe doesn't like coming in 2nd to anyone. He's a bonafide state of excellence tour de force. |

the v rod has run a 9.06 but no 8 as yet on this set up did run a 8.8 on non turbo set up but the motor was on the limit and broke a lot .it would nice to run a 8 stock motor i think its more of the right day at the track than any think else but i would like to win a round of top gas the v rod ran a 9.24 to my 9.31 in the finals so a good race .the gas bike will always get you 60 ft they run 1.2 then you have to real them in as there slick slows them down and a street tyre has the less effort on pulling down the motor |

Wow, you and this bike are impressive! I personally know how hard it is to wring out lower ET's out of an almost stock bike. |

Knowing how tight the Buell world is, my hope, to meet you Joe seems an attainable goal. Really impressed and proud of your accomplishments with your 1125. Race well and be well. Zack |
