Power hungry? I got pair of 1125's, they have way too much power as is! Also, your posts weren't deleted because you want to speak your mind. Differences of opinion are welcome here. Your posts in another thread were removed because you were hijacking and piggybacking someones for sale thread. You are more than welcome to make your own thread, we even have a nice classifieds section. You haven't had a problem with any of the moderators as far as I know. | ||

^^^ +1 Your hijack in a supporting vendor's for sale thread was in bad taste. IMO. I've seen several FS threads that haven't been messed with. You may have better luck starting your own thread, or like Froggy suggested even try the classified section. it's not your god given right to hijack other folks threads... start your own and you'd be good to go. good luck selling your bike. Read up on some forum etiquette and you won't get flamed too frequently either. | ||

I doubt anything in the constitution gives you any rights on the forum for free speech. There is probably some legal mumbo jumbo somewhere that says they can delete whatever they want when ever they want without any recourse on your part. Normal shit on every board. Don't like it, start your own. | ||

Not that I think he needs any help defending himself from trivial remarks but he's always been extremely helpful and courteous. This forum is definately "owned" by someone, there have been threads in the past that have held differing views from the owner and the replies haven't always been as "balanced" as I'd like but I do respect the fact that for the vast majority of occassions you're free to post your opinions and speculation. It's only when those opinions are presented as "facts" that it becomes an issue generally - or when a post is a direct personal attack (like the last 2 in this thread) but that's against the reasonable usage policy anyway, so i'd expect there to be some form of action taken. In all honesty, if your opinion of the forum is that bad you can always vote with your feet (or keyboard/mouse) and post somewhere else... | ||

Thanks guys, I do appreciate the comments. If you see some of the things they say about me on the other forums, you would think I am the spawn of satan or something. I just sit back and laugh at how stupid people can be! Jordan, I found the thread you were talking about in the Badweb Trashcan (where all "deleted" threads go). I wasn't the one that removed it, but I took a quick look into it. Your thread was crapped all over, I'm sorry to see that happen but some people just aren't mature. Since you had a second thread already going and that one was untouched, it was decided to remove the crapped on one. Your recent posts aren't helping you at all though, the personal attacks against me and other members here aren't appreciated and if you keep them up you will have to find somewhere else to sell your bike and whine about how evil I am for removing an immature and unprofessional post of yours. Seriously, just knock it off. Looking at your history, I see that I have helped you with trying to sell your bike last fall. You PMed me because you were having difficulty posting a few pictures, I gladly dropped what I was doing to spend a few minutes and get them posted for you. What happened then? Oh yea your thread turned to total crap with bitching and whining. Seems to be a reoccurring trend with you....
Not sure if you actually looked, but I do have a Blast that I use for commuting regularly. 85MPG, and plenty of power for day to day tasks, very light and narrow that makes it easy to get around traffic in cities. I do take it out once in a while to see how it does in the twisties vs some locals with XBs and 1125s, and it will handle its own, as long as we aren't going up a steep hill at 70mph+!
Which posts are hijacking? Everything looks relevant and on topic as far as I can tell. Nobody did something lame like posting their bike for sale in another persons thread. | ||

Froggy you are a class act sir. JR - i believe it's time to mull over what's been said here. You have raised a concern - heavy handed and insensitive moderators. Which looks like you have a short or selective memory. We all do to some extent, so you can probably get a break from the rest of us if you let this thread expire. Give it a few days/weeks and most of us will forget and not give you a hard time. good luck selling your bike - remember pictures always help selling something online. You might find froggy's assistance helpful if you don't know how to post them. And i'd be willing to bet if you asked for help folks including froggy will still help. | ||

if in my opinion your a douche i will post it but read on it says not all buell riders are douches just a select few.....reading my post is like reading the bible... read the whole post and then comment dont take out parts for your benefit.... and before its said no im not saying my post are like the bible just giving an example that is commonly used and all my comments are just to froggy... i meet him at homecoming good guy kinda weird but arent we all.... just think its a joke that everyone keeps on saying i posted my bike for sale on a thread from a vendor trying to sell a bike if i remember correctly the thread was someone looking for a buell so once again i dont understand how my post was hijacking or irrelavant if someone did the same to me i would just take it for what it is ......someone trying to sell a bike | ||

JR - here's the rub man. You don't remember correctly. It was a thread from a supporting vendor saying he had a new 1125R and used CR for sale. You totally jumped into the middle of his posts to offer your bike for less. That's where some forum etiquette might help you. It was deleted as a thread hijack which tends to rub folks (myself included) the wrong way. My responses which were totally smart-ass were deleted as well... I didn't mind since it brought the topic back on target for the vendors FS bike. You'll figure it out JR - the internet can be a scary place... | ||
