I have a stock exhaust and would love to hear and see aftermarket ones before I buy one. The youtube posts really don't give me an idea of how loud they really are. I hope I am allowed to attend? Please consider me? |

Besides getting a first hand sound clip of the various aftermarket exhausts, this is about getting to meet some of the local Buell Bros. And since I am still running my stock can I certainly wouldn't exclude anyone else with one. |

IF it's dry out, I'll be riding the Bonneville trying to get it to 500 miles and out of break in so I can get new oil dumped in it and rev it over 4k rpm. How irritated would u guys be if I showed up on this with it's stock mufflers??

Nice Bonnie Bad! I've been considering one in hopes of coaxing the wife out with me. |

Thanks Dog. About 130 miles of break in down and I'm already in love. Huge grin factor and handles pretty well actually. The gf was a trooper for 2 seasons on the 1125r, including down to mid Ohio and back from Stow. Everything from the seat strap back is hers. I got it at Northern Ohio Ducati/Triumph across the street from Chapel Hill mall. Owner is cool guy, and the store is amazing with a bunch of vintage stuff on display. I think the demo truck is gonna be there the weekend of May 21st. |

I love that shop! I like to stop by occasionally and drool. I plan on doing my before/after dyno testing there when the effing rain stops. If I could talk the wife into riding on the back of a Streetfighter or Speed Triple it would be a done deal, but I think a Bonneville is a nice compromise. |

Come one come all with or without aftermarket mufflers, with or without your 1125! This is mostly about a meet and greet and I certainly don't want to exclude anyone from participating. And if all you want to do is swing by the coffee shop to say hello and not participate on the ride you are definitely welcome also. The weather looks questionable at best, but I'll gladly take that over rain out at this point. If anyone wants to call me feel free (Chris at 440-241-4979). |

Well it's not the prettiest day but the radar looks sort of promising. Their is a cell heading for us that looks like it will arrive in Akron around 12:30. But it looks to be short lived and clear behind it. If anybody plans to show up, I will ride over rain or shine. Please post and let me know that you are coming. I need to leave my house around 12:45 to be there by 1 PM. |

If no else shows up I could do a shorter ride around the valley if you wanna hear a Barkers exhaust. I just gotta be back home around 330 or so, my gf's six year old has made dinner plans for me. |

I am all ready scheduled to ride with some other riders to Mt Eaton starting at 2PM and the radar is looking clear now! Do you want to meet me at the coffee shop at 1 PM? We could do a short ride in the area but I need to be back in Akron by 2 PM. |

Well Ya'all consisted of Bad Lions Fan and myself. The weather was not perfect, as the morning rain left a lot of wet road surfaces, but in relative terms it was marvelous. For those of you not keeping tabs on Ohio, we broke the all time rainfall record set in 1964 this year for the month of April and May seems to be following suit. I was almost a lone wolf as I was running a bit late and only caught the tail end of BLF's R leaving the coffee shop about six blocks ahead of me. I put her in chase mode and managed to see him making a left hander onto a brick, downhill side street. My quick stop at the bottom of the hill was exciting on the wet surface. But I did manage to catch him and we ran a circuitous route through the Cuyahgoa Valley. He is running a Barker's with the mid level sound deadener installed and the matched Erik Buell Racing ECM. I spent most of my time riding behind and to the right of him to get a good sense of the sound volume and quality. I really liked the low pitch and was surprised at how quiet it was. Definitely louder than my stock exhaust, but not a lot. I would be real curious to hear that same set up with no quiet core. For those of you looking for a better note, but not a lot more volume, this should definitely be on your list. Hopefully the flood waters will reside and we can do it again with a few more riders. |

I'll definitely be interested next time. I would love to hear the mid level silencer. I have the smallest quiet core but I mostly run mine without it unless I plan on doing a really long ride. |
