It was great to meet you guys! I had a blast even with the sleepless freezing night (screwed up lodge reservation) and the hectic work. Sorry I wasnt able to hang out more, but things were pretty busy with it being the first tarckday of the year for the club and all. I really wanted to get out with you guys in your group more and maybe even get some vids of you but my whole gopro experience was an epic failure this time. Dont know whats wrong with it...guess I should've checked it out before I went. There are no vids of any track time which blows because those tracks are awesome. The north course is fn sick! Special thanks to Dean Adams, the pipe with the Erik Buell Racing ecm performed great! I couldnt tell you how fast I was going since I dont look at the speedo, but it felt faster than ever. I willm have a much better gauge when I go to NJMP next next week. I will get my gopro straightened out and hopefully get some vids. Hope to see you guys out on the track again sometime! |

definetly june 11/12 at summit point. i can't do any thing in may or for the rest of teh month. i'll be working alot of night shift for the next month and a half. i understand having to work, and not being able to hang out it was great to see another bueller there! but with the ART class and with my wife and kids there (which was very nice) there wasn't hardly any time between sessions to hang out. gotta bring a cooler for the night before, and show up early. Dean's pipe sounded awesome trackside! im sure the extra volume helps on the track. i was kinda wishing i could hear more of the bike and less of the wind to keep me off the limiter -doh- no idea how fast you were going, but for comparison; i was having trouble feeling comfortable enough to get in to top gear like you were ... maybe i need to work on somethings. like not looking at my speedo so much, amongst others |

yea, no need to look at that speedo..it'll probably just freak you out anyway! I was getting into 6th on the straight, but wasnt comfortable enough to keep it pinned thru the kink. I would usually roll off slightly to get thru, then pin it to the 6th brake marker, brake hard and tip in. The wind was crazy at the kink too so I was being careful. No crashes this year! See u at Summit!! |
