I'll find out tomorrow when I bring my CR to GlendaleHD. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/ads/ads.pl? banner=glendale;time=1300169690 I was on a really fun ride with what seemed like 40 other Buells thanks to a So Cal Area Buell ride. Everything was fine on the bike - averaging like 14.1 volts, temp at or below 170 because it was a cool day. We stopped to look at the view at the top of the mountain where you an see both the ocean and the valley. And on restart - 11.6 volts, red battery light, "system voltage" alert. I coasted all the way down to PCH -- about 5 miles. And AAA got me home. 5069 miles. Kind of like clockwork from the similar tales of woe that I've read. |

If it was undercharging, it's likely stator; overcharging with dark IC and SYSTEM VOLTAGE, it's more like regulator, from my experience -- could be both. |
