Granted, I haven't been there since the AMA stopped running the series, but I'm pretty sure this will still apply and I've done it both ways: If you reserve, you only have to go to will-call at the track. But, the line to buy tickets is about the same length (short) on the day before. Ticketing closes earlier than track practice does though so keep in mind. Reservations- forget about it. Just get general admission. The stands aren't close to even 5% full. Just go find a seat. Now, if you can finagle a seat in one of the suites... Was in there 2005 when BRAG members could get tickets - very nice! |

Well then here's a couple of more things: If you're going on Thursday or Friday, the food vendors aren't open inside. You're allowed a soft sided cooler - or were, you may want to check that. Early March for us Wisconsin boys is still too early when your base color makes a dead fish look tan so bring sunscreen. When the sun goes behind turn 2 in the late afternoon, it gets COLD! Especially if you ignored the sunscreen advice. I personally like the Roberts tower up high out of the sun for watching the race. Since they built the new infield buildings and the fan zone, you can't see the whole back side of the track, but you can still pick up the action exiting the chicane. Leaving the track towards I-95/I-4 is a whole lot easier than heading east where the obnoxious, loud pipe show is held downtown. Watch for squids who think they are auditioning for a factory ride. A couple are collected every year. |

+1 Roberts tower. I've watched the race from most of the locations in the past. See ya there. |

My family owns/operates the 7-11 at the corner of Taylor and Williamson drop in and gas up on the way too the cabbage patch. My 1125r will be out front and I enjoy the rare buell sighting. If a bunch of Buells were to show up around 2in the afternoon we could group ride to the patch. |

What's the address of the 7-11? Need to put in my GPS. I'll gas up my CR Saturday. |
