Author Message   Dktechguy112 Posted on Friday, January 28, 2011 - 11:55 pm:        I just changed the oil on my 1125, its got a 2010 motor. I don't have the 2010 manual. I remember reading the hot check before the manuals were pulled. I put 3.3 quarts in and if i check it hot on side stand it is half way up the sight glass, if i put it upright there is no oil in the sight glass. I just want to make sure I am doing it right. 2010 hot oil check 1. ride for 10 min 2. idle for one minute in neutral on kick stand with dip stick out. 3. shut off and check oil with the bike on the side stand.   Sportster_mann Posted on Sunday, January 30, 2011 - 12:20 pm:        Yep, that's just about it except 1 is ride for at least 10 minutes and 5 miles.
