Not sure how often you guys get out of the 1125 section, if you don't, you really should.

It says that the data from the teams was not the same as the track I want May to do excellent too, but if its like blake youngs time it was more around 191/192mph (blake youngs official speed was about ten mph more than what the teams data said) Still bummed no 1190, and it sucks we have to wait about 50 more days to see how it all plays out where it matters |

> I am just excited to see whether our bikes can advantage from the new parts pool. That's happening already! Erik Buell Racing has some really nice parts for our bikes. The brakes, as mentioned in a VERY long thread , is one good example. Color me suspicious about the 200+ trap speeds. Isn't 200mph something of a difficult barrier for motorcycles in general... and on a *road course* at that? 191 is pretty incredible in its own right if you ask me. I think 130 is hauling ass! |

Checha was hitting 195 plus at the end of the front straight at MMP at last year's SBK. Granted, the straight is a little longer than some other road courses (3500 feet). I think the track records shown have been broken since 2008, but not sure. "The track record for the HANNspree FIM Superbike World Championship was set on May 31, 2008 (on the 3.08-mile Outer Course) at 1:48.193/101.454mph by Carlos Checa on the No. 7 HANNspree Ten Kate Honda CBR 1000RR, with a top speed at the end of the front straight of about 195mph. The AMA Superbike Championship track record was set on May 31, 2008 (on the 4.5-mile Full Course) at 2:45.111/97.810mph) by Ben Spies on the No. 1 Yoshimura Suzuki GSX-R1000, with a top speed at the end of the front straight of about 195mph." http://www.millermotorsportspark.com/watch/event-f aq/ |
