In a previous post, I raved about the Buell Touring Tailbag and I stated it was one of the best tailbags I have ever used. They thought of everything and the bag was very complete. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find now and is expensive too. Well guess what? I found that exact bag and it is made by Dowco! Haha! It is the same bag without the Buell branding but with an additional top expansion system. Dowco calls it their Elite Series Sport Adventure Tailbag. Check it out: http://www.motorcyclegear.com/parts/luggage/tail_b ags/dowco/elite_series_sport_adventure_tail_bag.ht ml It's still expensive but if you want a really good tailbag that is complete without having to mozy on down to your local H-D dealer (which most of us hate), here is that bag! |

Just another option - I've purchased stuff from both places myself. http://www.helmetharbor.com/products/Dowco-Elite-S eries-Sport-Adventure-Tail-Bag.html |

motorcycle gear/new enough is a great source for stuff! But I must say, at 120 bucks from them its a bit much. I paid 80 for my buell unit. One thing that is nice about the bag is the D rings and such offer a great place to add a cargo net on top. Now to just find the manufacturer of the saddlebags..... |
