I too modified my lower plastic (cut out a rectangle with a Dremel) to allow my '09R light to shine on my plate with the Jardine. Pretty easy stuff ... Mike |

Go with the Jardine: it's simple, cheap (relatively), and looks clean. No need to pay any more for a simple piece of equipment. |

I used the Erik Buell Racing plug then made a simple bracket to tuck the plate in nice and deep. When I sit on the bike the plate hits the fender. Then added a some turn signals flush on the side of the seat, integrated LED taillight, and a plate light mounted to the Erik Buell Racing plug.

i definitely want one of the integrated lights from xblights.com. However I think im going to use the jardine! thanks for everyones help. Ill make do without the light for a while and my light i get will have the led underneath to illuminate the plate.(an option from xblights.com is that the underneath of the lamp is left clear to light the plate). |

I picked up the amber LED turn signals and white LED plate light at cycle gear. Smoked Integrated LED Tail light was from xblights.com i believe. Fabricated a quick plate bracket and bolted it on up to the plastic underside of the tail.

That plate under the tail should eliminate those nuisance photo tolls. |

I got the kit from American Sport Bike. It was a 30 minute install, until I went to reconnect the left turn signal. Actually had to remove the tupperware to get at the connector. The kit includes a place for the license plate light. Pics when I get back to town. It was easy, and looks sooo much better. |

I have the "Tail Tidy" and it has a led lamp for the license plate. Very good quality. |
