Response posted... and buried in the archive. Anyone know how to pull the thread out of an archive? |

No idea how to pull out of an archive...but having a) followed you around a racetrack (or tried to), and b) talked to you in a parking lot at the 25th...don't be nervous! If you get nervous, just come to DCish (Pocono, VIR, Summit Point) and I'll be happy to try and follow you around a track again, or interview with you again. Either of which would make you look GREAT by comparison! Very cool news on the new program, though. And, if you end up DCish, my door (and garage, and beer fridge) are always open |

Hey sorry for the delayed response here. Was just digging for something else and this popped up. I'd LOVE to come ride VIR again... the challenge of course would be to be able to (affordably) get out there with all my crap and a track-ready bike. Unless you know of local outfits at Summit or VIR (not going back to pocono - sorry but it's an awful track) that rents bikes? |

Hm. How much do you want to spend for rental? I have a 2,000 mile bone-stock '09 CR in the garage... Although, if I wanted to even the playing field somewhat, I'd ride the CR and put YOU on the UlyX with all three bags fully loaded. Or maybe the Blast. And I'm with ya on Pocono. Might as well be downtown Detroit, or DC. ugh. |

LOL. Sounds like the gauntlet is being thrown down?! I think if we did this it'd be more fair if we were in the crappy pocono infield (no real straightaway for the CR to kick ass.) But Ok, load the Uly-x packs with beer, put some track-ready tires on it, gimme a few mins to fiddle with tire pressures and suspension adjustments and let's go. Loser pays for said beer. :-) |

You got it! I suspect I'll be buying no matter what. It's not the arrow (or the straightaway)...it's definitely the indian. But I'm good with that Just don't bring Tripp...I don't need to be ganged up on!! |
