Just curious....what display do you guys set your dash to ?

A common thread here is...I didn't notice a problem till the "battery light" came on.

The most important display in the dash is...the "water temp/battery voltage" display....in "my opinion" of course.

I like the gear display and amb. temp. but cycle through everything once in a while.

Due to stator issues, I always switch to the coolant/battery display to monitor the voltage.

I've thought seriously about taping it over. Too damned bright at night, even with the setting on "2". Speed and RPM, all I've needed for years and all I really need now : )

That said, I just leave it where it defaults at key-on...what's it, gear and CT?

Batt level and temp.
I think if you need an LED to tell you what gear you're in, you really should be riding a scooter instead of a motorcycle. (Not that there's anything wrong with scooters...)

Coolant temp and Voltage ... Because the two have DIRECT relation to one another!

When I get cold I look at AT for a sec
