Hi Guys, I am looking to take off the whole part, windshield/mirrors/blinkers/headlights. Would like to install some bar end mirrors with incorporated blinkers! does it exist? can it be installed? which headlight will fit? I am just trying to give a little different look to this beast? Thanks a lot for your comments, help, opinions, advices, time! My very Best, Max |

I'm assuming you've got a 1125r. You can get bar ends with blinkers, but they're expensive - in the area of $200 IIRC. Headlights are h8 bulbs on the r, h7 bulbs on the cr. |

There are allot of wires behind the factory headlights. Everything you are asking can be done but will be custom. IMO if you didn't like the look of the R, why didn't you get a CR? |

Hi guys, Thanks for your help and answers, I appreciate. I got an R because at that time it was the last 1125 in the area and I prefer the look but after a while, I have an idea in my mind One more questions, do you know where I could shop for headlight that will be compatible with the 1125r and maybe you can tell me if you have seen, this kind of headlight. racer style, back in the days but ""blinkers would use the circumference of the headlight"" hoping that I am explaining myself. Thanks again ofr your help and dont drink too much for Thanksgiving Max |

Blinkers too close to the headlight may not be seen from the headlights glare. |

I have my blinkers wired into the running lights using yellow bulbs. They show up really well. |

I *think*, if you remove the support, headlights, and headlight wiring harness, you can get OEM parts from a CR - instrument cluster support, flyscreen, headlights - and they will plug and play to the main chassis harness. |

Effectively you are looking to streetfighter your R. Check out somewhere like this for inspiration: http://www.streetfightersinc.com/BuellAccessories. htm There are so many differnt typres of headlights available you could spend ages looking for exactly the riht one. With the Buell you'll have the choice of making use of the existing headlight mount and having a light that doesn't turn with the forks or buying a pair of fork mounts and having a light that turns. I suspect i'd go for a small combined headlight/fairing panel so that I could stick with the stock clocks etc and to hide the wiring. Have you tried just taking the fairining off and seeing how it looks, it's not half bad actially... |

Hi Guys, Thanks for your ideas. I am looking to give a cafe racer style to the beast. The idea is to put a headlight cafe racer style 1960 but Hi-Tech, so I think to remove all the windscreen and headlight support. this is for the front For the back, I am thinking maybe to install a xb9s tail... this is it. My idea or choice is not to change the bike but to give a fun cafe racer style. I believe the bike has a potential. All Buell need a little work to expand their design and look. So I am working on it. in case of, do any of you have the map to do a " plug and play" for the headlight??? My very best, Max Hope one day I will be smart enough to join the Houston Biker Buell Group. I am pretty low key but like design |
