It's more like trading American heavy metal for British grunz pop metal. I wept as I sold my 1125CR this summer. It was a true love/hate relationship. I purchased the closest resembling motorcycle I could afford, A Triumph Street Triple R. The Street Triple R is much lighter, the brakes are better and the gas mileage is split between the CR an the R. I do noticle and miss the loss of horsepower the CR had over the ST hss. But in the grand scheme the Little Street is great. I am happy with it it, BUT I WANT TO SEE ERICSTICK it to HARLEY and produce a rock solid winner that proves itself on the track and on the street, In a nutshell, I love the Street Triple, but I was madly in love with the CR. I am now unhappy with HD MotorCo. and hope Eric rises up to bitch slap them. |

The 1125 series was the bitch slapping. What happens when you tell the emperor he has no clothes? |

No, the 1190 will be the real bitch slap! If that bike ever comes out for public use at an affordable price, I am sure it will sell like hot cakes. Harley will really be kicking themselves in the ass then! |

I am a huge fan of the speed and street triples... very good motorcycles! The street has the handling but the speed has the grunt... Both are just above my price range of zero dollars at this time, or my 1125r would have another stablemate. Although, I would find it hard to choose one or the other... |

I've got a Daytona 675 which basically has the same motor as the street triple. It is a fantastic motor for sure! |

A few of my mates have speed triples (1050s), they're great bikes, huge fun and very reliable, Triumph are still in the habit of over engineering everything (which is cool).. I still prefer my 1125R though, it's faster, rarer and (so far) just as reliable.. |

I'm on my second new Triumph, a 1050 Tiger. Zero warranty issues or problems, and easy to service. |

Yep, the 675 is a very cool looking bike! I am considering buying that bike as my next ride if the 1190 is out of my budgetary reach (which it probably will be). My only reservation is going from a bike that is a strong and fast as my R down to a bike that is basically a 600. |
