I heard it from a wee man in poddington that it weighs less than the 5mm one from ebr

I'll put my stock one on the digi scales tomorrow for you, working tonight : (

Wavy rotor is by far the lightest, but won't stand up to road racing baking demands.

Probably be fine for street and drag.

Yea, that wave rotor is lighter. That's the one to go with.

Also, send me a PM. I'm having a guy cut Titanium rotor bolts for the front. We are working on the design now, and it would use the Erik Buell Racing mount kit, but replace the heavy steel bolts. Probably save close to half a pound of weight up there for around $80. Not a bad deal at all.

Little,

One other thought: Have you considered using the ZTL-1 caliper instead of the ZTL-2? That's gotta be at least a full pound of savings.

It's a crap brake, but you don't care, so it would shave some more weight.

what about that carbon ceramic deal from germany? granted it's very spendy but i want to say their site said weighs in at a kilo. that rotor + Ti bolts+ ztl1 caliper= really lightened front end...

The 6mm stock rotor has worked very well for me in the road racing environment as it dissipates heat well.
This year I switched to the Erik Buell Racing 5mm as my stock rotors wore out after 4 years of abuse. The 5mm rotor is an outstanding piece and I've seen no difference in brake feel or stopping distance.
If you're roadracing, I'd stay with either of these as they've been proven by guys way faster than me.
I curious why folks bad mouth the ZTL-1 caliper? Again in a roadracing environment with Nissin pads that will put you right on your head plus it is lighter and the pads are much less expensive.
If you're really worried about less than 1/2 of a pound, pay very close attention to tire weights as well.
I'm working out more this winter and trying to watch my diet, I'll cut more weight off me than I could ever afford to cut off the racebike!!
