Hello, anyone can tell me if I convert my 2010CR with the high handlebar to the clubman handlebar the brakes line, clutch line, gas line and all the electric wires will fit into the clubman? or they will be to long?

thanks

It depends on what you mean by "too long", the brake and clutch lines and throttle cables are longer on the high bar kit so they will be longer than stock which means you'll have some excess to hide/secure.

They'll all function perfectly but they may look a little untidy.. You'll also need to make sure they're tidied up so they don't get trapped under full lock and don't catch on anything to preven the bars turning..

Longer brake/cluctch lines can made bleeding more difficult if there are additional curves introduced as air can collect there and it's harder o get it all out..

The longer cables won't hurt at all. I don't really buy into the bleeding argument -- it's a couple of extra squirts and isn't a big deal.

One HUGE, ENORMOUS, GIGANTIC advantage: 1125r racers use a +6-inch front brake line because it so drastically simplifies front wheels swaps.

OMG, it's a night and day difference to have some extra slack to work with.

It's easy, at least it was for me. I got installed a set of clubmans on my highbar equiped 1125CR last night.
Took 45min with 15min spent talking to my mom when she called in the middle of the job. I'm certain than after doing it the first time I could reverse the process in 15-20min
I was gonna start a thread on this but you saved me the trouble : )
The cables and lines are longer but not really bad.
It helped to take off the fairing to get a look at how everything is routed.
Here are a couple shots of how mine looks with the long lines and clubmans.

I should have got a shot after it was all buttoned back up with the fairing on, but it looks good.
I tweeked the brake and clutch line clamps a bit to make sure the lines didn't hit the fairing or scoops.
Also be sure to put a towel or something over the scoops so you can let the levers hang down without scratching the plastics.

Luis MP answered.

Wow thanks Not, for the pictures, if you can upload some pictures when your job is finished, that would be great. Mostly to see how are positioned the "excess" of long wires.

Ok, I'll get some more shots when I get home.
The wires all went easily into the slot on the side of the fairing.
The throttle cables I pulled back into the fairing and so they flow from the controls into the slot on the fairing. This was made easier by pulling off the fairing and working the cables into position from both the fairing side and the conrol side.
The clutch and brake lines are not as "clean" now since they have more slack in them but they don't look bad at all. It probably only stands out to me because I know they're long.

I was really surprised how easy this was. After searching on BadWeB I was worried that you couldn't run the clubmans with the long cables but really they fit just fine.

Compared to the routing for the clubmans on my XB9S this was a cake walk. The real downside to the clubmans on the S is that switching bars requires bleeding the brakes. Luckily that is not an issue on the CR so switching bars should only take about 15 minutes now that I know how everything fits.
However, comparing the two now I'm a bit disappointed that the CR clubmans don't have much downward angle, they're almost flat compared to the bars on my S.

Curtis- glad it turned out to be a simple swap. You re-used those grips? How's it feel with the clubmans installed?

Few more pics

Hugh,
The left grip came off with minimal fuss. If I want to switch between the two bars often I may get a matching set so that I won't have to pull it off every time. The bars are great. The high bars did make things a bit more comfortable though riding two up.
So far I'm really happy with the CR. I do have to take it in to get the clutch weep fixed next week though.

If you want another set like those American Sport Bike carries them. I liked them so much I put them on all 3 (now 2) bikes. I used some of my wife's hairspray for the install that time and it seems to have worked pretty well. It acts like a lubricant when the grips are going on and then sets and sticks pretty well.

Glad you're happy with the bike. Hopefully you can get them to show you the parts they remove and the new ones they use to fix the weep. I'd be very interested to hear your analysis of the problem given your background.

Could you post some pics of the routing of the throttle cable? I just installed mine and am having trouble with the throttle not "snapping back" to closed position, and spent a good couple hours working on it. I have the short cables in now but i still have the long ones, and can reinstall them if i can see how you routed them. thanks!
