Just saw the preview for the Mythbusters "Table Cloth Choas" episode. This should be the episode with the mystery Buell. Tune to the Discovery channel tomorrow night at 8pm to find out! |

Not much of a mystery - EB posted on his facebook page that it's "an 1125r outfitted with a bunch of EB R goodies", about a week ago. Still gonna tune in though. I bet Jamie got some free farkles for his bike in return for the publicity. Lucky bastard... |

Fact: Jamie needs to ride his bike more! Looked like an 08 with only 1800 miles! The bar end mirrors kept appearing/disappearing too. (Message edited by avc8130 on October 27, 2010) |

IIRC, the 08 would combine AT and CT in a single screen. The 09 cluster is organized a little differently. And Anon - I wondered why he was in what sounded like fourth for the 100mph run. I can run 125 (indicated) in third on my *CR*, with the shorter gearing. No reason an R wouldn't be able to do it in third...or maybe even second, but been a while since I was on an R. Or....did he have a shorter gearset with the chain conversion? He did quote a pretty solid 9 second quarter mile time at the start... Hmmmm...... (Message edited by ratbuell on October 28, 2010) |

I am kinda wondering about the exhaust. It looked like the race pipe, but sure didn't seem as loud. It was an oval can and not round...can't remember how the race can looked. |

The first design "race" exhaust can is oval. Mike |

> can't remember how the race can looked. Proof that race bikes built at Erik Buell Racing do, in fact, descend from heaven...

You can hear it good in this clip. http://dsc.discovery.com/videos/mythbusters-tablec loth-pull-angle-1.html (Message edited by 2thepoint on October 28, 2010) |

That is it, I am saving up for that exhaust, probly take a few years, but I like it, just as long as they don't ban it for noise before then, I'll be ok |

well since he has the chain conversion it could be geared down or up which would also through off the speedo Jake |

3rd and doggin' it to stay near 100. I saw the speedo and thought I saw him blast right thru 100...anyway with the chain conversion there has to be some difference in gearing between his bike and our stock sprocket. I would think...this has been mentioned before.} |

Yes BUT remember ebr can set the speedo to read for whatever ratio they are using by changing values in the ecm.... |

The bike was done up by Erik Buell Racing, I am sure they corrected the speedometer when they did the race ECM. |
