I was crazy busy last year but wasn't it about now that the sh*t heads killed Buell? |

You missed it, it was Oct 15th. There are some threads on the Quickboard discussing it. |

I think you got it wrong. October 15 is when the music started to live. Erik Buell Racing gained their independence that day and they are slowly beginning develop into a symphony. 1190 decibels! |

why do i swear in my head that it was oct 18th? EDIT: yes, i know that the 15th is correct. i for whatever reason *feel* like the 18th sounds more like the date. just one of them things... (Message edited by ponti1 on October 21, 2010) |

I'm one of the counter-intuitive ones who finds the situation better today than it was a year ago... |

The closing was announced on the 15th. Was the Monday 10/18 the day the fire sale was announced? |

Milt, that's the way I remember it. I was there with the cash, best deal I've ever gotten on a new cycle. It's not my first Buell, but it's easily been my favorite. Actually, it tops my list of favorites over all the bikes I've owned. Now look, just talking about it caused me to get the key. I'll be back, 100 miles of twisties await! Mike |

So it was 10/15. What burns me most is that Buell had finally arrived. I always buy used and the shut down of buell has definitly benefited the used vehicle buyer, but still I wish the 1125r was selling used for 10k and I couldn't afford it, the world would be right once again. |

The first dumpster pic makes me sick. What was the reason or the point? |

That's good to know. Hopefully they slapped a Kawasukahonmaha fairing on a trashed Blast and told the auditors it was the Barracuda 2. |
