2009 1125CR, 2100 miles, about 200 miles ago I had my voltage regulator replaced because it went out. I noticed that while I rode it to the dealership for service, that when the voltage indicator came on that my left fan was constantly running. The dealership fixed the regulator and all was good. Now, I rode the CR the other day and just as I was getting home the IC displayed the errors for the left and right fans not working. I parked it and checked the fuse, 15 amp, which was blown, replaced it, and fired the bike back up. Fans came on and ran fine. I shut it off, put it back together, and ran it into the garage for the day. I noticed as I pulled it into the garage that the fans weren't working again, and the codes were being displayed again. The fuse is blown again. Anybody else seen this? Suggestion? Ideas? Thank in advance guys, and ladies. |

Yes, I've seen this. It is a bad fan. Mine did exactly as you describe. Mine was replaced under warranty. Yet another recurring reliability issue. |

the right one on mine sounds like a bearing is letting go. we all paid for a functional machine. a quirk or oddity here or there is one thing. this is getting to be ridiculous though. |

Really? How many fans have you had replaced? One so far in only 4000 miles toolshed, but I wasn't the first either. A stupid electric fan shouldn't fail in 4000 miles. One or two would be no big deal but there have been others. |

All of you do know,at least I assume you do,that H-D designated who the supplier of the out sourced part ,ie. fan motors, stators etc. so don't be mad at the design be mad at H-D for being so short sided and stupid... |
