Does this mean that your stator went out or that you are waiting for it to go out? |

I watched it go from the usual 13.8 or so down to 10.8 as I pulled into my garage. Now I have to take it to my local H-D and hope for the best. My plan, get the diagnosis, get the (free) parts and install myself. OR let them install and then once back home Ill take it all apart and see how they did. Last time, for the harness, was a disaster... left the charcoal canister hoses disconnected... nice, open vacuum line to the TB, missing bolt from airbox cover.... sigh Im in SD and it just seems the dealers here dont care for BUELL |

Wow, that sucks! I have taken mine to Skyp fordyce HD in Riverside and while they are not cheap, they seem to do pretty good work and are friendly to boot. I hope this fix really is a fix and it no longer gives you any issues. |

If you want it done under warranty they will be installing it. |

Mine has been in the shop three weeks for a stator issue that's funny. I had my bike back in around 5 business days for a stator replacement--and that included ordering and shipping the parts to my dealer. Not saying most people get this type of service, but 3 weeks seems way too long.} |

Mine went out at 10,038mi without having the harness done. I informed the service manager that I paid full price for my 2009R on the last day of May 2009. I also told him that I have heard all the horror stories of owners having to take their 1125's back several times concerning the charging system. With all the tact I could muster I made it clear that I was not going down that road and if I have to bring it back a 3rd time they will own it. To help soothe your pain Tbowdre my H-D shop installed the harness, changed the stator and the voltage regulator along with the Flash. The displayed volts of charging now make a whole lot more sense. It took a while for the new flash to settle in and with a few TPS resets its running smoother, cooler and a bunch of engine clattering noises are gone. Getting near 12,000mi now and its all been good! |

Tell me about it three weeks is ridiculous in my book. But they ordered the harness first, telling me that was going to fix the problem. Which I knew it wouldn't, but what are u going to do. Then after the harness didn't fix it they ordered the stator. I just haven't ever had any luck with HD dealers, not with my xb and now with the 1125. I am sure their are good ones out there but they are as rare as Buells themselves. |

Mine's been in the shop for 2 weeks with a bad O2 sensor. I think it was just the wire, but they ordered the complete part instead of bothering to repair the wire. No idea when it'll be done. :-/ Ridiculous. |

Mine came back home today, stator R/R. I managed a 100+ mile test ride (it's required, right?!) I'll probably leave the factory ECM in for a few more trips, just to gather some data monitoring the IC. Then I'll put the E B R unit back in there and compare what it's doing charging-wise. No contest on which ECM that I prefer for riding!! |

Picked mine up today after being in the shop for almost a month! Harness upgrade, stator, pipe and tensioner pulley. |
