You know, I'm not sure if it's a related problem or not... but I'm noticing now that when I enter the board, I don't see the "Backfire Board" unless I log out, and then log back in again. If I leave the board for another website, I have to do the same thing all over again or the Backfire Board is invisible. This is also new behavior to go along with the ID/Password glitch. |

It's here cuz many of the maniacs in this room are scared of what lies outside, almost as much as the outsiders are afraid of them. Segregation, tho not always pleasant, is needed at times. |

Try editing profile and selecting "delete cookie at end of session" or something to that effect. One user reports success after doing that. Also try deleting cookies and caches and history from iphone Safari app settings. |

I'd bet a windows update as one of my other forums is having the same problem. |

Okay, I made the setting change. Let's see if there's any difference. I don't think a Windows update would affect a non-Microsoft browser though. I would understand if it were just Internet Explorer. |

Now working in MSIE 8 with Win XP Pro SP3. I did have to click twice on the username field after entering my message. I also did the following in the browser settings/options: 1. "Tools" - "Internet Options" - "General" - "Browsing History" - "Delete" 2. "Tools" - "Internet Options" - "Content" - "AutoComplete" - "Settings" ensure that "Forms", "User names and passwords on forms", and "Ask me before saving passwords" are checked. Then click on "Delete AutoComplete history". Then click "OK". Will check iPhone asap. |

Works with Safari 5.0.1 now after clearing history, emptying cache and checking AutoFill Web Form Preferences for User Names and Passwords, at least for updating posts. However, the initial Search Form still does not have the Registered Users' User Name and Password fields filled in like it used to. |

Hmmm...I am on IE8, XP SP3, and did the steps above with no luck. Closed all browser processes also, but still seem to have to type username/password manually every time. If I do click in the username field, I can see all my usernames for various things pop up for me to select one, but I am used to this site pre-populating with no manual intervention. |

Testing IE8 on WinXP SP3... Had to click twice on username field, but it is working. I think it is important to delete the autocomplete history...
As well as browsing history...
I have found that only the username will autocomplete on some pages until having entered the pw once on that particular form, but once entered it is then recalled in future posting activities. |
