About as different as Abe Lincoln and Barack Obama.

Well blows that idea.
Was thinking of possibly using the scg rear shock to get a little ride height...ya I know it sucks having a shorter inseam.

Get a Corbin. It moves the riding position down about 1/2" & forward 1/2" and is much more comfortable.

I shaved the seat, feels exactly as firm/soft as before but got my feet nearly flat on the ground and looks like stock I'd say. get some riding shoes with some height, that helps too. Just don't get those stupid looking harley boots.

cut my seat down by 1". it sounds painful, but shape it right, and it is more comfortable.

might fit Scg pegs to give less knee bend.

somewhere i posted about how i did it, and photos, but search doesnt seem to be working for me

Austin,

The shock on the XB is about two inches longer.

My girlfriend came from a XB9SL to a 1125CR so she faced the same issue. She had Corbin make a seat with a little carved out of the jewel area and narrower. The seat work dropped her an inch. I sent the forks and shock out to GP Suspension to have the curb height lowered 1.25". She says it feels like her old 9SL with 2X the power. GP did a good job.
