Howdy! Just following up on a previous thread (http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/580490.html) to see how your dealer handled the P1047 error and if anything was done to positively resolve it. I just posted my experience with 3 techs in the last 2 months (with my bike being at the dealer the last 5 weeks) with no meaningful resolution. |

Well it turned out to be the fmf exhaust causing the conflict. I put the stocker back on and with the ride home from work(10 miles) the afv's were already back to normal and it quit popping on decel. |

Froggy posted the correct fix for your problem. The race ecm WILL fix it. |

Thanks Cptncreme! Same fix here, apparently. Thanks Dean. Any chance you are working on a new exhaust with lower volume as the priority over max HP? I'd take a 10-hp bump instead of 15 as long as it was less that 102dB at WOT. |

He better be, my CR has seen less use ever since I put the RT1 on it. I can only sound like a FAG on Sunday afternoons. |

I just lost a lot of electronic equipment on Saturday night from a lightning strike. Most of my computers have been down. Still have my iPhone and laptop though. No air conditioning sucks. Just a rough guess, maybe $7500-10000 in damages. I need to get my house in order first, then catch up on lost time building pipes. I did get to go for a short ride yesterday though. First one of those in months. |

Damn Dean, that really sucks. Sorry to hear about that. Did you have those power strips that offer reimbursements for lightning damage to items plugged into them? |

Homeowners insurance should cover it all I think. Both flat panel tv's were on surge strips. Most of the computers were on UPS backups, along with the 2 modems, gigabit router and switch. Lost the Wii and xbox360, along with all the phones in the house that were on chargers, might have been 6 or 7 of those. The worst one was the ac unit though, its going to be in the 90's here all week. |

Time to go to Wally world and get an A/C window unit! |

Hahahaha! Funny you should mention that. I bought one from Lowes earlier this summer for the garage, guess where it's being used at now? Not sure of the current temp in the house, but it's reasonable. |
