Went to ride my 2010 CR to work this morning, pulled in the clutch lever and there was no resistance at all - went straight to the handlebar - checked the fluid level, none at all ! There is no sign of a leak on the outside at all so it must be hiding inside the cases.

Looks like it's going to be a warranty job. Does anybody know if there's a permanent fix for this - I know of three 2010 bikes in the UK that have had the same issue. Did the updated parts get fitted to 2010 models ?

Clutch seal and piston kit, yea, there's a fix.

Keep an eye on your fluid levels (which is a good idea, anyway) and you can almost go indefinitely without repair.

Oh, eventually the seals get so bad you are just pouring the fluid through the clutch, I agree, but you can go many months before it gets really awful.

Any body have an idea of the seals part #'s and cost? My dealer does not have a clue about what I am talking about.

Does anybody have an idea of when the 2010 Rotax engines were built for Buell ? I was wondering if they were already fitted with the X2086.1AM hydraulic piston/sleeve kit or if they were still using the older parts.

I'm wondering if I can persuade my dealer to fit the upgrade kit.
