Has anyone had a problem with the E B R ECM and the Barker Exhaust stalling at idle. Not all the time but more often than I would like while sitting at red lights. Thanks for any feedback.. |

I don't have that setup but I'm eyeing it and this is the first I've heard. When you installed it did you do a TPS reset? |

what brand of gas have you been using? Somewhere on the road or less than top tier and you are asking for trouble. |

Do a TPS reset for sure. I had a condition after installing the Erik Buell Racing ECM where the bike would start okay, but as soon as I cracked the throttle, it would die. A TPS reset did the trick. That was interesting because i was moving ECMs fairly frequently between my 2 Rs and never before did I have to do a TPS reset, then all of a sudden there was a major issue with the throttle...but like I stated previously, the TPS reset did wonders and fixed the issue. |

mines fine. you can verify the tps reset by going into diag mode and look at the throttle percent closed and wide open |

My bike is all stock and I have the problem stalling as pulling in the clutch while at idle at a stop light...stall happens as I shif into gear. This has nothing to do with the set up your running. lol |

I believe it does, when u modify the intake and exhaust u need to address the fuel aswell. Also the bike stock still has issues... It's still a monster! |

Maybe try starting the bike and let it idle for 10-11 minutes. That will recalibrate the IAC I think. |

Hi, happens to me as well while waiting at lights. Maybe once every 10 times... Barkers, K&N and E.B.R with Barkers tune + lower idle + reduced engine braking. Not overly bothered by it as it starts up first time everytime... * TPS reset and IAC done. (Message edited by jayz on September 15, 2010) |

Interesting, I had the problem also with the stock but more so. Less now with the current setup. I'm running high octane 94+ fuel but I'm also in the Middle East and can't vouch for the additives or lack there of. I'll give the TPS reset a go again, did it when I first installed the ECM but not since. I'll also check the diagnostics. Mine also restarts right away but would rather it run without the stall. Not a big issue but if there's a simple fix I'm willing to give it a try. Thanks for the replies. |

installed both last week and the K&N filter. Talked to Erik Buell Racing and they said plug and play the ecm. I'm really happy with the results. No problems yet. Like the exhaust without the two baffles I ordered. |
