I'm am in need of (want) a CR belt. HD net shows there aren't any in the system. There isn't even a release date however they don't show as backordered! So does anyone know where to score one? | ||

wow, it does say available, but pending obsolete with no superseded part number(as of yet anyway) and when they arent on back order there will be no release date shown, because there is no back order... so from what it states right now you should still be able to order one just fin, as you normally would | ||

I couldn't get a time frame from the dealer. I have no issues with ordering one as long as I can get it within a reasonable amount of time. If it goes into Buell purgatory, I'll pass. Froggy thanks for the heads up. That would be a last resort, (Paying retail). S&S shows a belt for the CR but not the R 106-1338 | ||

Dont know about CR belts, but Erik Buell Racing has some R belts for $110 shipped. I don't think they are on their website, so I wanted to share that info. | ||

Fresno, E B R was the first place I tried. Yes they had R belts but no CR belts. They have a nice assortment of stuff there!  | ||

Ordered a 149 tooth belt tonight. Should be here by Wednesday. I'll check on my 76 tooth sprocket tomorrow to see if it is in yet. This will give me 2.81, 2.92 and 3.04 to 1 gearing in addition to my 2.59, 2.69 and 2.80. It will be nice to have choices. The 2.92 is what I think the bike will like in the quarter. I am guessing I should be going through the traps in fifth gear real close to redline now. | ||

As No Rice stataed the belts are available according to the HD parts system. |
