there is a pin held with a 'c' clip. carefully pick the 'c' clip off. Look and remember how the spring is oriented to the peg. push pin up and out while holding spring and old peg so parts don't go flying off, there is some preload on that spring. Trail Fit: put peg in place and drop pin in. Some have mentioned that some filing of the peg needs to be done for a smooth fit. Actual fit: position peg with the spring properly in place so it is applying downward pressure on the peg. this can be a bit of a wrestling match but you can do it. i put a little more taper on the head of the pin so it would find the hole and go in easier. repeat on the other side. |

If you have a screwdriver about the thickness of the pin, you can shove that in, in place of the pin, stick the pin on the end, work the screwdriver back while it's holding the peg and spring in place...and the pin replaces the screwdriver. Easier to wedge the peg in place with a "lever" (screwdriver). |

can you let us know if there's x-tra buzz through the pegs now? i was thinking of the change but afraid of more buzz through the pegs since the uly pegs have no rubber... |

Using NON rubber pegs (lightning); when I slide the ball of my foot off the peg for a shift the sliding is smooth, not sticky. Shoe rubber against a stock rubber top peg makes for a sticky, jerky slide. :-) |

Oh yeah...between the touring seat and the Uly pegs, my knees aren't up my nose when I ride the CR anymore And I have a 34" inseam. The top half of which on the left is titanium, and the bottom half of which on the right is also titanium. I think its actually roomier than my S2 with the drop peg brackets. |

Im thinking of getting a 1125, but not sure if my knees can take it. Anyone know the seat to foot peg distance of the 1125 so i can compare it to my Uly? |

When installing the 2" dropped pegs on mine, I wasn't careful enough and the spring disappeared over my shoulder. Looked high and low, but couldn't find it in the garage. Next day, the wife hands me the spring. "Is this something important? I found it in the front yard"! |
