Not sure. Got a false neutral and then it dropped into gear creating a high rev situation for a moment before I got the clutch in. A couple of shifts later, bang. |

(In my best John Cleese voice) "Thats naught but a wee nick". All of the oily parts stayed inside and it didn't seize and throw you on the ground....violently... If you are going to Ti valves and such, be sure you understand life cycle and predictive maintenance...you may want to discuss Cryo for the parts if they are not already so treated. You are lucky...that the valve bent without breaking the stem....looks like Buell used good 1 piece valves instead of those spinwelded pieces of junk...most other engines would have ended up as an expensive paperweight. Be sure you get all new valvetrain parts. |
