Now is it just me. But is it wrong that I want all the issues that this bike can get and get them updated. I've bin hoping to get the water pump leak cuz I want the new one for free. See I love my bike and don't plan on getting rid of it till a new one comes out. And even then I'll probably keep it. So am I the only one that thinks this way? |

I live by the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Given the skill of many HD technicians, you might not want them tearing apart your bike to change a waterpump that is perfectly fine. Preventative maintenance is different. |

Right I'm just saying I hope it leaks now and I can get it over with. Or if it don't I'm happy with that too. |

I don't trust them with preventative maintenance either. The best rule is not to let them touch it unless you know that they know what they're doing. My local dealership (not my preferred dealership) had to change the oil to replace the stator. They failed to use new crush washers on the drain plugs. Now the clutch-side plug drips just like a Harley! |
